Andrea’s Reflections from the Accelerator’s first year

As we close out another year, I am celebrating and reflecting on how to move forward in ways that foster equity, sustainability, and joy for ourselves and our communities. I am especially proud to share progress since launching the Social Studies Accelerator, powered by Education Leaders of Color, earlier this year. This initiative was imagined out of a career-long desire for young people to see themselves and their histories in the classroom, develop empathy for others, and become inspired to act towards a more just society.
