National Council of Social Studies Strategy Session with History Co-Lab

This session was held for invited content providers to help create an action-plan to reduce the barriers for teachers to teach culturally responsive social studies.  Over a dozen organizations were present to understand and align on what is causing fear for teachers and preventing them from teaching culturally responsive and sustaining curriculum and how organizations can address these issues. As a result of the meeting, a work group has formed to collaborate and address teacher support, market dynamics and misinformation.
