ASU+GSV Air Show

At last month's ASU+GSV Air Show, Social Studies Accelerator Founder, Andrea Foggy-Paxton, sparked a crucial conversation on equity in the age of generative AI.

On her panel, Andrea emphasized the urgent need for educational AI tools that are unbiased and reflective of the diverse communities in our schools, highlighting how these technologies must empower rather than exclude.

The Social Studies Accelerator works to ensure students have access to interdisciplinary social studies education that represents who we all are and how we collectively shape our communities and our society—because our students deserve nothing less.

These discussions underline the importance of equitable access and inclusive practices in an educational landscape that's evolving at a breakneck pace. These discussions are stepping stones towards practical solutions that ensure no student feels alienated by the very tools designed to educate them.
